RWM UK is now starting a new production site in Telford and we are recruiting for Assistant who will have an important role in the overall support of the ramp-up of the new production site in Telford.
About RWM UK
Rheinmetall Weapons and Ammunition UK (RWM UK) is part of the defence engineering company Rheinmetall AG based in Germany. We design, manufacture and support military large-calibre weapon systems used by the British Army and international customers.
Position Responsibilities
* Departmental assistant for the central areas of production, logistics, quality and maintenance with around 100 colleagues
* Be the good soul of the new production site in Telford
* Booking business trips, processing travel expense reports (especially for the training of colleagues in Germany and vice versa during the ramp up of production)
* Follow-up on mandatory training/instruction
* Time management in the SAP-System
* Be the first point of contact for the team and external partners
* Support to the factory manager and head of departments
What Qualifications You Should Have
* Completed training as an office administrator or comparable
* Experience as a departmental assistant
* Being able to handle multiple tasks calmly
* A proactive, hands-on mindset
* Confidentiality and trustworthiness
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
* Fluent in the English language (written and spoken)
* Diligent and meticulous approach to work, organisational skills and conscientiousness, as well as reliability and ability to work in a team
* Open and friendly attitude, but firm when necessary
