About the role
Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, activities, and guidance of the Insurer and Other Sales Ledger Team. Management of the end-to-end process for all applicable customers, from sales orders through to cash collection and disputes. Providing timely and accurate reporting on sales ledger processes to meet month-end deadlines. Project management for automated invoicing.
Driving performance against set targets, assisting with employee issues, and managing the team’s objectives and targets to achieve them. Constant monitoring to ensure exceptional service and KPI achievement.
Key responsibilities
* Ownership of the team customer account creation and maintenance processes.
* Preparation and sending of weekly excess payable report.
* Management of group intercompany matrix, including investigating and resolving intercompany differences.
* Ensuring the team manages internal and external query resolution within SLAs.
* Conducting monthly team 1-2-1 meetings, documenting in HR system, and providing focus areas.
* Providing team development and training.
* Ownership of weekly debtor reviews with action plans to resolve aged items.
* Providing detailed reporting to management on aged debtor position and SLAs (emails/call stats).
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers.
* Ensuring all processes are documented.
* Collaborating with internal/external teams to create process efficiencies.
* Ensuring management accountant raised items are cleared within the month.
