Drive change within the Service Area and across the Council by leading the delivery of the Council’s Corporate Strategy and major corporate programs and initiatives; ensure value for money and improvements to service delivery; maintain high standards of conduct; benchmark against other authorities; explore opportunities for joint working to improve service delivery; and contribute to the Council’s strategic objectives. Operate and behave as a senior manager in accordance with the Council’s values; act as a role model for the leadership team; challenge practices, manage, and deliver cultural and behavioral change as necessary.
