Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum (KS3 & KS4).
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Teach to a range of abilities, tailoring support and challenge accordingly.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development.
* Mark, assess, and track student progress against national standards.
* Set high expectations for student behaviour, effort, and achievement.
* Inspire a love of reading and critical thinking.
* Provide timely, high-quality feedback to students.
* Attend and contribute to department and whole-school meetings.
* Participate in extra-curricular English activities, clubs, or trips.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular literacy.
