Metastatic Breast ACNS
An opportunity has arisen within the Metastatic Breast team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary; we are seeking a qualified Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist or Advanced Clinical Practitioner at band 7, to join this well-established team on a, permanent basis. The post is funded full-time, but 30 hours would be considered.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist teamhas a focus on maintaining and achieving high quality patient care throughout the patient pathway; providing support to frontline clinicians and contributing to care that makes a real difference to the experience of patients and families.
You will have recent experience as a clinical nurse/practitioner, caring for people with oncological conditions at all stages of the disease process.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a changing workload, with responsibility for a specific caseload of patients.
As an ACNS/ACP joining this team you will be expected to work Monday- Friday adjusting hours in line with the revised working week, maintaining and developing your advanced practice skills, knowledge and competence as well as supporting that of others within the team.
You will hold a PgDip in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent and have experience working in an advanced practice role.
