Overview
A leading company is seeking a Global Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their fast-growing team. This is a strategic, high-visibility role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across the global product portfolio while supporting business growth and market expansion. You’ll work closely with R&D, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to protect customers and the company through safe, legal, and compliant products.
Responsibilities

Lead regulatory strategy for the global product portfolio and manage regulatory risk.

Oversee a small Compliance team, encouraging development and ensuring the business stays up to date with regulatory requirements.
*
Provide expert advice on compliance matters, both internally and to external stakeholders.
*
Conduct research into legal requirements for new and emerging international markets.
*
Approve all new product documentation, including specifications and packaging artwork.
*
Manage export and customs documentation (EUR1, COO, Export Health Certificates, etc.) to ensure seamless trading.
*
Maintain and improve compliance policies, guidance, and procedures across the business.
*
Act as the main point of contact for regulatory and compliance queries from internal teams, customers, and authorities.
Candidate Profile
*
Degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition, Food Technology, Food Law, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
*
Regulatory or compliance experience.
*
Experience in a food manufacturing or retail environment, with knowledge of UK, EU, or ideally global food regulations.
*
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a small team.
*
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
*
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex legislative information.
*
Knowledge of logistics compliance and international export/import documentation.
