Responsibilities
* Oversee the readiness of the team's response to security incidents.
* Monitor performance of allocated staff to ensure work conducted effectively, provide on‑job technical advice, act as a supervisor and coach/mentor new team members.
* Ensure liaison with government regulators to refine requirements, frameworks and operational criteria and communicate these to FalconWorks and its entities.
* Support FalconWorks programmes and sites to produce accurate threat assessments and operational requirements.
* Support the security culture, behaviours and communications by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values.
* May have people‑manager responsibilities, leading a team of qualified security professionals who support BAE Systems joint ventures and entities in relation to current government guidance and best practice.
Qualifications
* Suitably qualified by experience, with demonstrable security managerial background.
* Experience of leading a team.
* Experience of working within government security policies.
