SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Worker – Specialist Provision Location: Stoke and Staffordshire Start Date: Immediate or September Are you experienced in working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Or perhaps you’ve studied related subjects such as psychology, mental health, or education and are looking for hands-on experience? Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to work in specialist settings across Stoke and Staffordshire These schools support pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, trauma, learning difficulties, and behaviours that challenge. Your responsibilities may include: 1:1 and small group support Assisting with emotional regulation and sensory needs Promoting a safe and inclusive environment Supporting pupils with EHCPs and tailored learning plans Assisting with personal care when needed (training provided) Ideal candidates will: Have experience in SEN, care, or behaviour support (or a relevant qualification) Be calm, resilient, and patient under pressure Have or be willing to get a DBS on the Update Service Make a genuine difference to young lives—apply now to join a dedicated and supportive team.
