Are you a supportive, enthusiastic individual looking to build your career in education? Vision for Education is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced staff and play a vital role in helping pupils succeed both academically and personally.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Support Learning in the Classroom – Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils understand and stay on track.
2. Work One-on-One or in Small Groups – Provide targeted support to pupils who may need extra help with their learning or behaviour.
3. Encourage Progress – Promote a positive learning environment that supports all children to achieve their potential.
4. Assist with Classroom Prep – Help with preparing learning materials, displays, and classroom organisation.
5. Promote Inclusion and Safeguarding – Support all learners equally and help maintain a safe, welcoming school environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
6. A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
7. Some experience working with primary-aged children (in school, nurseries, or youth settings)
8. A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children
9. Good communication and teamworking skills
10. A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
