Office Manager & PA to the MD – Based in Newcastle NE5 - brilliant varied role.

A dynamic personal assistant to a plate spinning MD who runs multiple SME businesses in the Northeast.

Initiative, experience, backbone, organisation, diary management.

A phased handover with the current PA who has been with the MD/Founder for 10 years.

A very stable and fast paced, varied role. We need an experienced PA/EA who has worked for an owner lead business who is resilient, super organised, robust, professional and can think on their feet.

Negotiable salary DOE – Holidays and benefits to be discussed

Full time role – Monday to Friday.
Office based. NE5

Top opportunity for a razor-sharp, highly organised OM/Personal Assistant to step into a pivotal role supporting a dynamic MD/Entrepreneur across multiple business interests. We need a plate spinner, diary manager, someone diplomatic who can be the calm in the storm, is this you?

More on the role…

* Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments across business and personal calendars
* Liaise with family members and key contacts to ensure seamless scheduling
* Book meeting rooms and ensure boardroom is prepped and presentable
* Handle calls, emails, and draft professional correspondence
* Process expenses, reconcile statements, and manage spreadsheets
* Manage tenant invoicing and quarterly billing
* Support VAT returns and bank reconciliations (phased in over time)
* Book flights, hotels, and transport for business and family travel
* Prepare detailed itineraries and manage last-minute changes
* Liaise with multiple stakeholders across different business interests
* Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information
* Provide support to the MD's wife and younger family members for admin and travel
* Be the MD's trusted right-hand – organised, reliable, and always one step ahead

Who we need…

* Experience supporting senior leadership in an owner-led business
* Exceptional calendar and diary management and organisational skills
* Strong backbone, thick skin, and a calm, professional presence
* Ability to work at speed, juggle priorities, and stay two steps ahead
* Excellent IT skills and a modern, proactive approach
* Trustworthy, diplomatic, and confident enough to have an opinion
* Comfortable liaising with younger family members and handling personal admin
* Can work in an office-based role, based in Newcastle NE5
