Overview
Ward Charge Nurse / Sister role at Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth, part of Ramsay Health Care UK. Full Time 37.5 Hours. Shifts cover days and weekends (9am–9pm) and will include an on‑call rota Weekdays and Weekends. Responsibilities
The Ward Charge Nurse / Sister will be an integral part of the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager and team to deliver safe, effective and high‑quality clinical care to all patients. You will be organized with good attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and work well within a team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Support the Ward Manager and team to ensure safe, effective and high‑quality clinical care for all patients
* Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail and strong teamwork
What You’ll Bring / Qualifications
* Current NMC registration
* Ability to deliver high standards of patient care
* Mentorship qualification desirable
* Previous clinical supervisory experience
* Enthusiastic and empathetic character promoting a positive attitude at work
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs
* Deliver working knowledge and compliance with CQC Standards / KLOEs and NICE guidance
* Be part of the On‑Call rota providing support for ward out of hours
