Corporate Solicitor (2–5 PQE)

We are working with a highly regarded Scottish law firm to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (2–5 PQE) to join its established and growing corporate team, based in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor to work on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters, advising a diverse client base from SMEs to larger national businesses.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering commercially focused legal advice while supporting senior lawyers on complex transactions. The work is varied and will provide strong exposure across multiple areas of corporate law.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Advising on mergers & acquisitions, disposals, and corporate restructurings
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate documentation
* Supporting on investment deals, shareholder agreements, and joint ventures
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Collaborating with colleagues across other practice areas as required
About You
* Scottish qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE
* Experience in corporate law, ideally gained within a reputable firm
* Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
