This service will support young people with significant emotional, behavioural and mental health needs, and as such we are only recruiting at an advanced level.As an advanced complex behaviour coach, you will be paid at an enhanced rate due to the complexity of the home, but the focus of the role is hands-on, therapeutic care and modelling exceptional practice on the floor.The Young People You’ll Support May Present WithHigh-risk and challenging behavioursSignificant emotional dysregulation and trauma historiesLearning disabilities, autism and ADHDMental health needs including self-harm and crisis behavioursPoor attachment experiences and boundary difficultiesYour Role as an Advanced Complex Behaviour CoachProvide consistent, trauma-informed care in a high-risk environmentModel calm, confident responses to complex and challenging behavioursAct as a role model and informal mentor to less experienced staff on shiftSupport young people with routines, regulation, emotional safety and daily livingFollow and contribute to robust care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plansMaintain high safeguarding standards and accurate documentationWork collaboratively with managers, professionals and the wider teamContribute to building a strong, stable culture within a brand-new serviceWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalentProven experience supporting children with complex needs and challenging behaviourConfident, emotionally resilient and able to remain calm under pressureStrong safeguarding knowledge and professional judgementReliable, consistent and values-led in practiceFull UK driving licence (ideal)Working PatternWe operate a consistent pod-based rota to support a healthy work-life balance!
