Job Overview Are you a compassionate and experienced professional dedicated to championing the well-being of children and young people aged 3-18? Outwood Grange Academies Trust, a leading and long-established multi-academy trust across the North of England, is seeking a School Standards and Improvement Partner with expertise in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our new team of experts who embody the value of breaking down barriers to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across our inclusive schools. Our Family of Schools is supported by our School Improvement Team, a collective of highly experienced professionals recognised as experts in their respective fields. These leaders bring a wealth of experience from senior leadership, subject specialisms, SEND, attendance and, family and community, each holding a trust-wide responsibility. Under the direction of the Executive Team, this team provides specialist support and additional capacity precisely where it's needed across the Trust. The post would suit an experienced leader with significant safeguarding experience acquired through an education, local authority, children’s services or social care background. About The Role As a specialist in SEMH, you will: Champion inclusive practices and lead the development of sustainable strategies for vulnerable children and young people across the Family of Schools. Provide hands-on support to school leaders and staff by designing and delivering targeted training and interventions, including classroom-based demonstrations of best practice. Develop curricula and resources to improve literacy, numeracy and other skills for SEMH students. Analyse the impact of interventions, advise on policy and procedures, and build external partnerships to ensure every child and young person can access learning and achieve their full potential.
