We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Broads Authority in providing comprehensive administrative support to our Resources Directorate.
The role is responsible for providing general administrative support services to the Directorate, which includes servicing a wide range of internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, distributing papers, and taking and circulating minutes. The role also includes assisting with the organisation of consultation exercises, public/stakeholder meetings, conferences and Authority events, including the Royal Norfolk Show.
The successful applicant will manage important records, databases, and contact lists, as well as handling general correspondence, telephone and email enquiries from the public and members of the Authority. Applicants should have experience of administering meetings (including complex minute taking), organising conferences, seminars or similar; and have proficient IT skills, with knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft 365).
