About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to manage and develop a designated territory, with the aim of achieving sales targets and strengthening long term customer relationships. This is a customer-facing role focused on driving turnover, identifying new business opportunities and delivering excellent service to our customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to territory management. Role Responsibilities · Manage a defined sales territory to ensure sales targets and budgets are achieved. · Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to grow turnover and customer relationships. · Structure and maintain a regular call cycle to ensure customers are visited appropriately based on their needs. · Identify and maximise new business and account development opportunities. · Monitor and manage account performance, taking appropriate action where required. · Communicate customer feedback from the field to relevant internal departments. · Manage stock responsibly to minimise losses. · Follow all security briefings and procedures to reduce risk and protect personal safety. Able to build strong relationships with customers and communicate effectively with internal teams. Negotiation & Influencing: · Confident in persuading and negotiating to gain commitment, overcome objections, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Analytical & Numeracy Skills: · Ability to analyse sales data, trends, and performance metrics to support informed commercial decision-making. Organisation & Time Management: · Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy territory, plan call cycles effectively, and prioritise workload independently. Adaptability & Resilience: · Able to remain positive and professional in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change and responding effectively to challenges. Market Awareness · Keeps up to date with competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to support continuous improvement and commercial success. Qualifications and Education · Previous experience in a field-based sales role is essential, with experience selling to independent jewellers highly desirable. · Knowledge of the bridal jewellery market would be an advantage, although it is not essential as full product training will be provided. · Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and territory planning. · Full UK driving licence is essential due to the field-based nature of the role. · Confident using CRM systems, sales tools, and mobile technology to manage accounts and track performance. Other details Location: · Home based – covering the North West, England Salary: · Competitive basic salary with open OTE · Competitive compensation packages and bonuses for exceeding targets. Working Hours: · 37.5 hours per week, 08:00 am – 16:00 pm.
