Job Description
3. Identify and pursue new project opportunities in hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities
4. Build and maintain relationships with NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, and contractors
5. Develop tailored proposals and bids with estimating and delivery teams
6. Deliver presentations and technical sales pitches to prospective clients
7. Meet or exceed sales targets and pipeline objectives
8. Translate complex client requirements into compliant technical solutions
9. Support bid and pre-construction activities, including value engineering and risk analysis
10. Work closely with project managers and engineers to scope, price, and resource projects
11. Keep up to date with healthcare technology, equipment, and FM project delivery
12. Act as the technical-commercial interface between clients and internal teams
13. Provide account management for key clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term relationships
14. Support mobilisation and handover stages to meet client expectations
The Successful Applicant
15. Strong technical background in M&E projects in healthcare or medical settings
16. Proven sales or business development experience in construction, engineering, or FM services
17. Experience delivering or selling hospital or laboratory projects
18. Knowledge of healthcare standards, HTM/HBN guidance, and compliance requirements
19. Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
20. Commercial awareness with experience in pricing, contract negotiation, and closing deals
21. Ability to travel nationally for client meetings, site visits, and presentations
22. Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under changing project demands
23. Collaborative, able to work closely with operations and delivery teams
24. Able to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
