*About the Role*
Brown & Co Solicitors is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Property Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join the firm as a Consultant Solicitor under a competitive fee-share structure. The role provides autonomy, flexibility and the opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload, supported by an established property team and full administrative infrastructure.
You will act for a strong and growing Chinese/Mandarin-speaking client base. Mandarin language skills are essential.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Managing your own caseload of residential and commercial property matters
* Running files from instruction to completion
* Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Transfers of equity, remortgages and new-build transactions
* Lease extensions (statutory and informal)
* Commercial leases, assignments and renewals
* Providing clear legal advice to Mandarin-speaking clients
* Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML and regulatory standards
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, agents and referrers
* Generating repeat business and promoting the firm’s services
*Requirements*
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* Minimum 5 years PQE in residential and commercial property
* Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written)
* Able to manage files independently to a high standard
* Strong client-care and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
* A following is desirable but not essential
