Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and deliver both basic and advanced life support training throughout the Trust.
* Respond to adult cardiac arrest and paediatric emergency calls.
* Act as an expert member of the team, facilitating experiential learning and team debrief.
* Coordinate use and maintenance of all resuscitation equipment within the Trust.
* Serve as a professional resource for all hospital team members.
* Provide key resource for simulation training.
* Maintain high standards of resuscitation training delivery through audit and act upon identified issues.
* Ensure an accurate resuscitation database is maintained.
* Respond to critical incident investigations, producing action plans to ensure safe, effective procedures and training.
* Offer support and advice to all staff after a resuscitation attempt, facilitating reflective practice.
Employment & Conditions
Disclosure and Barring Checks (DBS)
All successful candidates who are new to the Trust and require DBS clearance for the post are required to pay the cost of their DBS certificate, which will be deducted from the first month’s salary.

Working Hours
The advertised post is full-time (37.5 hours per week). Applications are also considered for less than full‑time hours where appropriate.
