This is an excellent opportunity for Field Services Lead Role professionals to be part of leading-edge technology projects. Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Services Practice provides end-to-end solutions covering architecture, design, implementation, management, and ongoing support across the entire enterprise technology infrastructure. Our services include management, consulting, and systems integration to help clients maximize infrastructure value while optimizing performance and costs.
Responsibilities
1. Support end-user computing devices, including desktops, laptops, Apple devices, tablets, thin clients, mobile devices, and peripherals using appropriate tools and processes.
2. Manage stockroom inventory of peripherals and laptops, conduct quarterly audits, and dispose of equipment as directed.
3. Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support at the Tech Lounge.
4. Resolve computer issues, install new programs, manage updates, and support hardware/software troubleshooting.
5. Assist network, server, and conferencing teams with hands-on support.
6. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot client software and hardware onsite or remotely.
7. Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair PC & MacOS hardware and software issues.
8. Contribute to process improvements through documentation and development activities.
9. Provide technical support for events, video conferencing, and audio/visual setups.
Experience and Skills
* Minimum 2 years of Mac experience in an enterprise environment with solid knowledge of Mac OSX.
* Experience in Mac OS installation and management.
* Knowledge of networking protocols (VPN, Routing, Ports, TCP/IP) and analysis tools is preferred.
* Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, and resolving tickets within SLAs.
* Deep understanding of Mac and Windows systems and latest technologies.
* Excellent analytical, customer service skills, and continuous learning mindset.
