Quarter is looking for reliable, fun, and hard-working Kitchen Porters to join our teams at Pizza on the Park and at Racks Bar & Kitchen (1 role available at each venue). These are part-time positions offering 18 hours per week worked over 3 shifts (at Racks) or 20 hours per week worked over 4-5 shorter shifts (at Pizza on the Park). Ability to work to a rota including weekends is a must, and for the role at Pizza on the Park, availability on a Friday is a must. Details of the Kitchen Porter role: Based at either Pizza on the Park or Racks in Clifton, Bristol Pizza on the Park role: 20 hours per week, usually worked over 4-5 short shifts per week. For this position, the successful candidate must have good availability on a Friday, particularly. Racks role: 18 hours per week, usually worked over 3 shifts per week. Both roles will involve working to a rota basis, including evening shifts, daytime shifts and weekends. From £11.50 - £12.25 per hour plus a share of the service charge at the venue What will you be doing as Kitchen Porter? Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided) Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (all units have catering dishwashers) Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins Our ideal Kitchen Porter: May have had some prior experience in a similar role, but this is not required as full training will be offered Will have good availability across the week, including weekends. Must be available on Fridays for the Pizza on the Park position. Will be a hard worker and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Will be a friendly and fun member of the team – willing to get stuck in!
