* Minimum of 8 years’ proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management within the Europe construction industry, preferably on large-scale industrial projects.
* Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or working towards RICS accreditation
* Strong knowledge of local measurement rules and standards in the UK construction industry.
* Proficient in preparing bills of quantities for civil works and MEP disciplines in industrial plant projects.
* Familiar with market prices for civil works and MEP materials and equipment.
* Good understanding of local labour rates, productivity benchmarks, and construction equipment rental costs in the UK.
* Proven experience in managing the full cost control process for industrial plant and lithium battery factory projects.
* Solid understanding of cost benchmarks for industrial and lithium battery plant projects, with the ability to prepare accurate estimates and budgets.
* Familiarity with commonly used contract forms and standard terms in the UK construction industry.
* Experience in handling project claims and negotiations.
* Proficient in using UK-standard quantity measurement software and cost management platforms.
