Management Accountant | £40,000 - £45,000 | Wigan + Hybrid | Industry-leading business | Fantastic Benefits + Flexibility Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to recruit and experience and ambitious Management Accountant capable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced role taking ownership for fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the team, as well as the production of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns and the direct line management of two assistants.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Produce and posting journals
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
* Variance analysis and reporting on key financial metrics
* Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting duties
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Training, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
* Provide insightful financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making
* Contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives across the business
* Other ad-hoc duties and project work
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong management accounts experience (ideally 3+ years)
* Good IT and MS Excel skills (VLookups, Pivots as a minimum)
* Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE
* Good attention to detail and analytical skills
* Able to communicate clearly and effectively
* Able to work collaboratively and independently
