Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering the development of each child in our care.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment that is conducive to learning and play.
* Observe and document children's progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
* Collaborate with other team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that meets the diverse needs of all children.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or materials as needed.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
