Bredenbury Primary School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes Queen Elizabeth High School and three local Primary schools.

Bredenbury Primary School is a small, 3 class school that prides itself on its nurturing approach and ‘family feel’. Serving the rural community of Bredenbury, set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and benefiting from a healthy and attractive environment, our school is warm and friendly with a strong community ethos. We are a fully inclusive school with happy and enthusiastic children, highly motivated staff and a supportive Governing Body.

We are seeking a kind and nurturing individual to supervise and ensure the safety of children throughout the mid-day break. The chosen candidates will support our pupils by encouraging children to treat each other with respect and to follow the school’s Behaviour Policy. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a food hygiene certificate.

It is expected the successful applicant will:

• have high expectations of pupil behaviour;
• be committed to creating an exceptionally positive environment for pupils;
• have good personal communication skills and ability to relate well to children;
• have an ability to work as part of a team and willingness to be flexible and accommodating in their approach
• be hardworking, calm, reliable and resilient;
• have a first aid qualification, or will be willing to complete one;
• have a strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all children.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
