Main purpose of the role
We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join our Technical team in the Scotland region, based in Glasgow.
Reporting to the Technical Director, the Technical Technician plays a key role within the team, acting as the main contact for Planning and NHBC Portals, managing invoice tracking, and document systems to ensure consistency and reliability.
The primary responsibility is to provide architectural support and technical guidance for regional office and site-based operations.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
* Preparing working drawings and details for site operations, managing design details for bespoke units;
* Resolving and monitoring site queries to facilitate product development;
* Coordinating with specialist suppliers and integrating their requirements into drawings;
* Producing architectural detailing for non-standard designs;
* Securing Building Regulation approvals;
* Procurement of landscaping surveys, designs, and management plans;
* Providing information to support legal and sales teams (e.g., deed plans).

Skills, knowledge & experience
We seek an experienced Architectural Technician who embodies our values: a straightforward, professional attitude, organized, and capable of working under pressure.
The candidate should approach problem-solving creatively, possess excellent communication and influencing skills, and have at least 2 years of experience in a technical, new-build environment.
They should be collaborative, support operational teams, build customer relationships, and be proficient in design software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
