As part of their continued investment in innovation and technical excellence, they are now seeking a Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full product development lifecycle — from concept and prototyping to testing and production — all within a business that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Design and develop precision mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor. Produce and maintain accurate technical drawings, BOMs, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and sales to ensure robust and feasible designs. Conduct design reviews, FEA simulations, and risk assessments (DFMEA). Support prototype development and product testing, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Participate in ongoing engineering improvement and cost-reduction projects. Provide technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders. What We’re Looking For Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HND/HNC with strong experience also considered). Proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally Autodesk Inventor. At least 2 years’ experience in a mechanical design role. Understanding of precision components, valves, or pressure-related systems preferred. Familiarity with CNC machining, turning, and assembly processes. Good knowledge of materials (especially stainless steel) and industry standards such as PED or ASME. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach. Desirable: Experience with FEA, CFD, or fluid system analysis. Knowledge of ISO 9001, design control processes, or regulatory compliance. Practical experience working with prototypes and test setups. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
