We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and inspirational Teacher of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics, to contribute fully to the PRE department within the next academic year at the academy. You will have the ability to teach Philosophy, Religion and Ethics to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and possibly Key Stage 5.
If you are able to motivate all students to achieve or exceed their target grades, if you are passionate about PRE, have an interest in being at the cutting edge and are driven to ensure students receive the best possible experience, then this job is for you.
You will be joining an excellent PRE department that has a relentless focus on raising achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher. (All our ECT’s are well supported by an excellent induction programme).
The ideal candidate must have the following:
* Qualified Teacher Status (ability to teach to Key Stage 3, Key stage 4 and possibly Key Stage 5).
* Be versatile to take on a range of activities.
* Have the ability to work within a larger team.
* Have high expectations of all learners.
* Ability to teach out of subject if required.
