The Disability Resource Centre is supporting recruitment for an employer seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant / Carer to support a joyful and spirited 23-year-old man with severe learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer medication
* Assist with personal care and dressing
* Support therapy and sensory activities
* Accompany and assist on fun outings such as trips to the park, cinema, seaside, horse riding, and water-based activities
* Help with swimming sessions in hydrotherapy pools
* Work alongside another dedicated carer
Available Shifts
* Monday: 7:00–9:15am & 4:00–8:00pm
* Tuesday: 7:00–9:15am & 4:00–8:00pm
* Thursday: 7:00–9:15am & 4:00–8:15pm
* Flexible weekend hours between 8:00am–8:00pm (Saturdays preferred)

Requirements
* Fluent English for reading care and therapy plans
* Full UK driving licence and access to own car
* Punctual, reliable, empathetic, and fun personality
* Ability to take initiative and motivate positively
* Comfortable around horses and in water (swimming not required)
* Fit, active, and non-smoking (preferred)
No prior care experience is necessary — a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
