About the role:
As Regional Care Manager, you will manage your team within specified trusts (travel to Belfast headquarters for occasional meetings required). You will oversee 4,000-5,000 hours of care delivered weekly to service users. You will receive support from Belfast HQ and a team of care professionals.
You will have the opportunity to grow, lead, and develop your team to ensure excellent care. Leading Area Care Managers, you will support their operations, ensure compliance, and drive service growth and excellence.
Main duties:
* Manage staffing coverage during absences to maintain stability
* Guide front-line staff via On Call in the absence of Area Care Managers
* Coordinate with stakeholders like Health & Social Care Trust
* Build, develop, and retain a focused team
* Report KPIs and operational updates weekly and monthly
* Lead and manage Area Care Managers
* Oversee induction, training, audits, and supervision of staff and files
* Identify business growth opportunities
* Manage annual leave effectively and fairly
* Mentor Area Care Managers and support their development
* Support system and process training
* Hold regular meetings and report incidents, safeguarding, and complaints
Essential criteria:
* 3-5 years' experience in a high-performance environment, managing priorities
* Experience in domiciliary care
* Flexibility to work in the community to cover absences
* Willingness to attain NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care
* Valid UK driving license (waived if disability prohibits driving but alternative arrangements are in place)
