Overview of Position: We are a dynamic and well-established property management and chartered surveying firm, providing professional services across residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolios. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality service to clients, tenants, and stakeholders, and we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our finance and administrative operations.
Staff Responsibility: The Accounts and Administration Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Key Deliverables:
Accounts Support
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
* Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
* Process invoices, receipts, and payments and prepare banking
* Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
* Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
* Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding account queries
* Debt collection
Administrative Duties
* Provide general administrative support to the team
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
* Maintain office supplies and equipment
* Assist with document preparation, data entry, and filing
* Support property management tasks such as issuing demands, notices, and correspondence
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role (property sector experience desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, Re-Leased) is an advantage
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
