Maritime at Arup
We bring inventive, trusted solutions to complex challenges in the maritime and coastal environment. Changes in global trade, a changing climate, stretched resources and the transition to a low carbon economy mean that ports and coastal communities must constantly adapt. To meet the challenge of adaptation, we bring specialist understanding to the entire range and lifecycle of port, maritime and coastal projects.
Whether guiding a client from concept to realisation or focusing on supporting our client operate assets more effectively, our maritime team members are involved in masterplanning, due diligence and feasibility studies, inspections and assessments, consents, engineering design, project management, construction supervision and more. We work with maritime clients to help them decarbonise and respond to the climate and biodiversity emergencies, bringing a whole-systems approach and technically robust trusted advice.
