Responsibilities:
* As a senior support worker, you'll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encouarge fun and creativity and engage directly with our wider community.
* Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs
* Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
* Support individuals in participating in community and social activities
* Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
* Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
* Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassionate and patient demeanor
* Reliable transportation to travel to different locations as needed
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
