Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Primary, Secondary & GCSE – Home & School Settings)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Leicester. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one sessions either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.
You will be working with a mixed age group of primary, secondary, and GCSE students. Many pupils may require additional support, including SEND, SEMH needs, or those currently outside of mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Support pupils across primary, secondary, and GCSE levels
* Deliver core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations where required
* Adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
* Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils
* Track progress and provide regular feedback
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent, or at least 2 years’ UK teaching experience
* Experience working with primary and/or secondary students, including GCSE level
* Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and GCSE requirements
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH pupils
* PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
