About the Role As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and discovery. You will design engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that encourage early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons and activities that align with the EYFS curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels safe and valued. Track and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for support and extension. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote holistic development. Encourage independence, creativity, and curiosity through hands-on and play-based learning. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Early Years Education or Primary Education. Proven experience teaching within the EYFS framework. Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child protection.
