Hays are working in conjunction with a large Manufacturing business in Telford who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Project Administrator to join their Sales and Projects department. This role supports key business functions and customer interactions, ensuring smooth project execution and documentation management.
Your new role
As a Sales and Projects Administrator your duties will include:
1. Supportmunication with direct customers, intepany teams, and partners.
2. Maintain and update customer contact details in the CRM system.
3. Update Work in Progress (WIP) records within the ERP/CRM system.
4. Collaborate with Customer Experience departments to enhance service delivery.
5. Assist with inbound sales order management.
6. Manage and maintain project documentation.
7. Create documentation to support the sales order receipt and processing workflow.
8. Adhere topany Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and processes.
9. Escalate issues andplaints appropriately.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
11. Perform additional duties as required within skill andpetence range.
What you'll need to succeed
12. Proven experience in Sales Order Processing.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to change effectively.
14. Experience working in cross-functional teams.
15. Background in customer-facing roles.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
17. Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
18. A dynamic individual with aspirations for growth within thepany.
19. Experience with Sage 50 or Sage 200, or similar accounting/planning software (preferred).
20. Familiarity with Salesforce (beneficial but not essential).
