Slough Hockey Club is seeking an Elite Performance Coach to elevate our Women's 1's programme—lead, inspire, and drive success at the highest level of competition.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Elite Performance Hockey Coach to join our team and drive our performance programme forward working with our Women’s 1’s who will be playing in EHL Conference hockey and Premier League indoor.
We are a friendly club, with a strong history of playing hockey at an Elite level both outdoor and indoors for over 45 years, with our own club house overlooking a water-based hockey pitch.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver high-performance coaching sessions.
* Develop and implement tailored training programmes focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
* Analyse player performance and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to player development.
* Mentor and support players in their personal and professional growth.
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the performance programme.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven experience coaching.
* Strong understanding of the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components of high performance hockey.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable Qualifications
* Coaching certifications (e.g., England Hockey Level 2/Level 3 or equivalent).
* Experience with performance analysis tools and techniques.
* Background in coaching both individual players and teams.
