In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of the Chief Inspector/Quality Manager to ensure that clients are supported. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards in all aviation-related work and ensure compliance with the quality control processes on all assigned projects. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying that all work meets strict safety and quality standards, ensuring timely and accurate completion of maintenance projects, and maintaining positive relationships with employees, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control and Inspections: Monitor and execute quality control processes as outlined in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual. Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with Repair Station authorisations. Complete in-process inspections to monitor maintenance progress. Perform airworthiness determinations based on ADs, SBs, Maintenance Manuals, and other technical documentation. Conduct Final Inspections of aircraft and related components. Generate required records for maintenance events and distribute to relevant parties. Process work order documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Technical Publications: Source and verify all necessary maintenance data. Ensure that maintenance data is up-to-date and applicable. Ensure the correct technical publications are used throughout the maintenance process. Tooling and Equipment: Ensure specialised tooling is available for maintenance needs. Oversee the proper use and serviceability of all tools and ground support equipment. Team Collaboration and Culture: Adhere to company core values and contribute to fostering a positive work culture. Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Required Qualifications: Aviation Passion: A genuine passion for aviation and quality workmanship. Experience: 1-2 years of inspection duties at a Part 145 Repair Station (or MRO equivalent). Skills: Experience with troubleshooting, specialised tools, and aircraft maintenance manuals. Proficient in using aviation maintenance software, MS Office, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities in high-pressure environments. Licenses and Certifications: Storeman/Inspection Certificates Valid Driver’s License. Other Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Conflict resolution and personnel management skills, demonstrating a servant leadership approach. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Additional Requirements: Must possess proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends, based on shift pattern.
