Here at GXO, we’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our dynamic team at River Island, in Milton Keynes. You’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality HR support across the site, managing a busy ER caseload, and leading a small HR team to deliver excellence in service, compliance, and engagement. This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00. However, some flexibility will be required, this is logistics after all! What you’ll do on a typical day: Lead and resolve complex ER cases with fairness and consistency Manage and develop a team of HR Admins and Coordinators (including payroll) Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and site culture initiatives Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning Coach managers on policy, performance, and capability issues Maintain accurate HR records and deliver insightful people data reports Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems What you need to succeed at GXO : Strong proven experience within a generalist HR role Strong ER and payroll experience in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of UK employment law Excellent communication, coaching, and organisational skills Experience using HR systems and Time & Attendance platforms CIPD Level 5 qualified (or willing to work towards) We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
