Job Description

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a charitable museum based in Oxford within the literacy world to recruit a part time Head of Finance. The Head of Finance will receive a salary of up to £45,000 (pro rata) along with other benefits including hybrid remote working and flexibility around working hours.

The part time hours will be 0.6 FTE, there could be some flexibility on this.

Primary responsibilities;

1. Drive the creation of the annual operational budget and forecasting for the charity and the subsidiary Trading company
2. Manage discrete and restricted project funds including capital budgets as required
3. Produce accurate and timely financial information for business and strategic plans
4. Provide advice and information to colleagues to help them achieve financial objectives
5. Produce timely management accounts, including income and expenditure statements, cash flow and balance sheet, and analyse movements between funds
6. Develop data-led analysis of the organisation's trading to inform business planning and maintain knowledge of external factors impacting business operations
7. Maintain a dynamic financial model to enable scenario planning and options appraisal
