Become part of our mission to create a sustainable world and start as soon as possible at our location in Latchford as : Electrical & Automation Engineering Lead (f/m/d) What awaits you: S upport and help deliver all Electrical & Automation activities across site E volve the culture of Reliability and support site Electrical & Automation systems Ensure reliability of our manufacturing processes by stabilising the performance of physical assets, defining, and setting standards for the proper management C are of the assets and installation while ensuring optimum levels of availability S upport CAPEX & Revenue projects R esponsible for delivering Reliability, Site services, improving process performance through OEE improvements S upport the day-to-day plant activities to ensure that the processes are reliable Liaison with operations to develop timely plans to reduce maintenance cost and impact to the process Internal & external stakeholder management Preventive Maintenance of all Electrical & Automation Control systems Obsolescence: Identifying-aging assets planning upgrades based on OEM life Cycle (PLC, HMI, Controls & Instrumentation) Ensure correct use and feedback through SAP to create history and working knowledge of the process Control & delivery of 'Shutdown' maintenance plans & on time Execution Experience of Root Cause Analysis and selecting strong countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence of issues How you convince us : You have minimum of HNC (preferably BEng Degree / HND) in an Electrical Engineering discipline and at least 5 years of Engineering experience Strong Electrical, Control, Automation, and Instrumentation skills with knowledge of 3 phase LV systems and HV distribution Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, & Outlook IOSH Managing Safely Certificate SAP knowledge is preferable Ability to read Electrical, Automation & P&ID pneumatic drawings Working knowledge of CAD and Rockwell PLC is desirable Knowledge of High Voltage Network distribution is desirable What Novelis offers you: leisuretime : Time for personal activities and relaxation is essential! The Novelis Latchford plant a suburb of Warrington Cheshire in England employs approximately 200 employees. It is one of Europe’s largest aluminium used beverage cans recycling plants and Europe’s largest closed-loop recycling operation for automotive aluminium rolled products with an annual recycling capacity of up to 195000 tonnes. The plant is an essential part of Novelis’ European production and collaborated with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to create the first closed-loop system in Europe with a dedicated railway service to efficiently deliver aluminium between Novelis and JLR’s production site in the UK. The Latchford plant is committed to its community in supporting math and science education to local schools as well as sharing the value of safety and works with a local charitable foundation to sponsoring health.
