Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager As a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager in our New Verticals team you will lead third-party tech partnerships in our rapidly expanding New Verticals division. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape and execute our global approach to working with third-party technology partners—including middleware, data integrations, catalogue tools, and picking software/hardware. In this role you will: Define our overarching strategy for working with third-party technology providers to enable growth across our New Verticals division (e.g., middleware, catalogue, last mile). You’ll address critical questions such as: “What’s the partner landscape?”, “What do we build vs. buy?”, and “How do we integrate this tech with our stack?” Manage commercial relationships with key technology partners, creating clear roadmaps that outline how these partnerships will scale and evolve in line with Deliveroo’s commercial and operational goals. Negotiate and manage new and existing contracts with key partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and a seamless operational rollout across multiple markets. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, integrations, care, delivery, catalogue, procurement, and legal teams to align partnership objectives with Deliveroo’s broader goals. Drive execution of your commercial strategy by partnering with local teams, supported by our New Verticals programme management function. Key Responsibilities Define and lead our strategic approach to working with third-party technology providers in the New Verticals division. Directly own the day-to-day relationships for a select group of our highest-priority strategic accounts (~5). Lead negotiation and long-term roadmap/Joint Business Planning processes with these partners. Identify opportunities to deepen and grow these relationships by working cross-functionally with other parts of the Deliveroo business. Required Experience: Experience with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or logistics-focused businesses (e.g., food delivery, e-commerce, retail tech). 4-5 years’ experience in an account management, strategy & insights, or strategic partnerships role; experience in retail technology or tech consultancy is a plus. Confident working with and analyzing data to create clear, actionable insights. Skilled negotiator with the ability to drive mutual value for both partners and Deliveroo. Strong relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills—whether in person, via video, or in written communication. Ability to develop and implement creative ideas and strategies to drive joint growth with partners, with a willingness to test and learn at pace. Collaborative team player who can work effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth company is preferable. Bonus Experience: Familiarity with B2B software or technology vendors, and integrating new tools or services. Experience managing partner ecosystems or technology stacks that support core business operations. Exposure to retail or supply chain technology, especially in catalogue management, picking software/hardware, or last-mile delivery solutions.
