Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Assistant Team Manager on behalf of Luton Borough Council within their Children, Families and Education department.
Main purpose of position:
To work alongside the Team Manager to lead the team. Line managing, supporting and coaching a team including ASYE's, Social Workers and Senior Practitioners.
As a Deputy Team Manager, you will be responsible to:
Work closely with the Team manager in managing in the day to day operations of the team.
Prevent the separation of children from their families whenever possible and appropriate.
Ensure children and young people reach their full potential and have equal access to services available.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team through using managerial performance data (KPI's).
Develop, support, coach, train and motivate staff to deliver and maintain excellent standards of social work practice, carrying out effective Check-In's, having regular supervision meetings.
