Zibibbo is a newly opened family run restaurant in the courtyard of Princes Square, Glasgow. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen and shape the future of our menu and food offering.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you'll have the opportunity to take full ownership of the kitchen, crafting a menu that reflects your vision while aligning with the restaurant's concept and brand. This is an exciting chance to be part of something new and put your stamp on every plate that leaves the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and write a seasonal, innovative, and casual menu that suits the brand.
* Lead, inspire, and train the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards.
* Ensure all dishes meet quality, presentation, and portion standards.
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
* Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety practices.
* Work closely with management and owners to grow the business.
About You:
* Experienced Head Chef (or strong Sous Chef ready for the next step) with experience in similar working environments.
* Strong menu development skills with the ability to balance creativity and understanding cost control and margins.
* A natural leader who motivates and develops their team.
* Passionate about food, presentation, and customer experience.
* Organised, efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
