Day to day duties and responsibilities will typically include but not be limited to: As Civils Operative you will ensure the completion of designated tasks on site under the supervision of the Site Foreman, ensuring the works are completed without harm to people, the environment and targeting zero defects. Day to day duties and responsibilities will typically include but not be limited to: Operate and carry out job set tasks. Ensure have been briefed and understand all relevant risk and method statements. Use best/safe practice on all tasks carried out Checks on any equipment that may use. Ensure safe tidy place of work. Ensure the completion of works is on time. Implement best practice procedures. Maximise use of own working time. Ensure signed up to all permits and briefings before commencing any work. Communication with site management. Communicate with site supervisor on any concerns. Feedback to site management with near miss reporting. Ensure attend all site briefings and forums. Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers Candidate RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have: Experienced Operative with experience of works such as civil ground works (Drainage, Kerbing, Brick work, Road Formation etc).
