We have an exciting opportunity at The Venues Collection, Sedgebrook Hall, for an ambitious Chef De Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Levy on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
As a Chef De Partie, you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding culinary experience for our customers in the market-leading food service company in the UK. You must be quick-thinking, adaptable and calm under pressure, often making changes with short notice when supplies or staff don\'t arrive in time for service. You will be a pivotal link between the Sous Chef, Head Chef and the entire team.
About the venue
Sedgebrook Hall is located in the village of Chapel Brampton in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside, set in 13 acres of gardens. The original manor house is a spectacular sight to see, and the grounds are ideal for fresh air.
Job Description
As an experienced chef, you will be responsible for ensuring all food service is kept in line with kitchen standards and procedures, supporting the Sous and Head Chef in maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene, and leading the team during service when required.

Responsibilities
* Ensure all food is prepared and served to the required company standard
* Prepare meals for restaurant, banqueting and bar as directed by Head Chef
* Support the Head Chef in each service
* Manage and order for your own section
* Work as a Chef in a busy hotel, pub or restaurant kitchen
* Experience of multi-outlet hotel kitchen
* Serve meals for events and functions as well as restaurant service
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen
* Anticipate customer needs to enhance satisfaction
* Remain correctly dressed and maintain high personal hygiene
* Participate in monthly stock checks and address discrepancies promptly
* Assist with purchasing, pricing, portion control and wastage management
* Abide by all company and legislative food standards
* Be aware of and uphold all Risk Assessments
