About the Role
Homecare Gurus Ltd is looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Live-in Personal Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping people live safely, comfortably and independently while receiving high-quality person-centred care.
As a Live-in Personal Care Assistant, you will live in the clients home during your placement and provide day-to-day support with personal care, companionship, household tasks and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
1. Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
2. Assisting with mobility and transfers, including use of mobility aids where required
3. Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
4. Prompting or assisting with medication, in line with care plans and company policy
5. Providing companionship and emotional support
6. Supporting with light household duties, laundry and keeping the home environment safe and tidy
7. Attending appointments or supporting social activities where required
8. Monitoring changes in health, wellbeing or behaviour and reporting concerns promptly
