Job Overview
We are seeking a Support Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team supporting the Energy & Environment (E&E) and Responsible Business (RB) teams. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, teamwork, and impact within NHS Property Services. The position is based in London and Stockport, with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Triage, categorize, and respond to queries related to utility invoices, budgets, site works, contracts, EPCs/DECs, tenancy changes, and consumption data.
2. Ensure accurate data delivery, collate information from multiple sources, and prepare relevant documents.
3. Assist with monthly billing activities, including invoice handling and approvals.
4. Resolve payment issues and manage supplier queries and e-bill formats.
5. Raise and receipt purchase orders for the Utilities Team.
6. Validate files from third parties, such as budget and value evidence files.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide information.
8. Proactively review utility costs and transition sites to collective contracts where feasible.
9. Produce sustainability data and reports for internal and external use.
10. Maintain financial controls and improve processes continuously.
11. Review and validate system records regularly.
12. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
13. Identify opportunities to improve key processes and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Profile
* Finance professional with knowledge of double entry and management accounting.
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, EDH, Outlook, and Teams.
* Clear communicator with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Customer-focused, responsible, adaptable, and positive.

Minimum Requirements
* Experience in finance roles within reporting teams.
* Stakeholder management experience.
* Knowledge of utilities, supplier management, and facilities management.
* Understanding of financial controls and accounting software such as Compass, NAV GL, Power BI/Power Query.
