Your Role as a Roadside Mechanic
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our team, delivering exceptional service to our members. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical support and handling breakdowns face-to-face with our members.
* Utilizing your technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills to resolve issues efficiently.
* Working flexibly, with shifts scheduled within the hours of 0600 and 0200.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and willingness to travel or stay overnight if necessary.
Working Conditions
You will work the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster, receiving your schedule seven days in advance. Your shifts will include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
