We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join our team based in Fareham and lead the Payroll team. As the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for Managing the Payroll team as well as a portfolio of payroll clients. As a Payroll Manager your role will involve: Managing a portfolio of payroll clients Making timely RTI submissions Applying knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments, for example, SMP/SAP, SPP and SSP. Applying knowledge of pension schemes, including AE process and pension upload to pension providers website. Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance. Proactively liaise with HMRC and assist with technical enquiries when they arise. Processing manual payroll calculations. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels. Using your own initiative to resolve issues. Supporting and developing a payroll team The ideal Payroll Manager will: Have experience using Sage Payroll Be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation. Have knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme Be able to demonstrate attention to detail and a high concern for accuracy.
